I remember as a little girl seeing our grandmother dressed in her all white uniform which was so clean and crisp every day. I wanted to be a candy striper in that same hospital emulating what our grandmother did to serve and to help others in need.
As I grew older to learn all of the sacrifices both our parents made in their perspective careers to commit selfless acts to help serve and protect their communities contributed to who I am today.
As our role models, this led me to work 20 years in customer relations in various fields, but more recently in the medical field as a certified Medical Assistant and a Utilization Management Specialist. Both roles allowed me to work closely with individuals who required my assistance in helping with managing their care. I look forward to this next chapter in our lives as we continue the mission of service to others in need.
