I became an expert in Caregiving needs… the same way all who inherit this labor of love do… by experience.
The process can come without question and isunique based on the needs of a loved one… not to mention it is purely a labor of love.
We worked for 15 years to fulfill each need of our 3 loved ones… my Uncle… Grandmother… and Father the proud U.S. Marine Sgt. whose dignity we upheld by making him feel as though each and every decision was his.
Each time we would hit a rhythm… often operating robotically… a new challenge arose… and we adapted instantly… which often meant other areas of our life were neglected… including self care.
I founded this organization in honor of our loved ones… and out of respect for all Caregivers… so that we can use our experience to help make regular responsibilities easier for those providing care for loved ones in their home.
